MSAG Toolset

The MSAG Toolset is designed to compare MSAG (Master Street Address Guide) and Telephone Number (TN) data against NG9-1-1 feature class data. This process ensures consistency between local addressing data and the NG9-1-1 dataset. The toolset consists of only one tool.

MSAG/TN-NG911 Comparison

This tool compares MSAG and/or Telephone Number (TN) files with the corresponding NG9-1-1 Standard feature classes—specifically, the ADDRESS_POINT and ROAD_CENTERLINE layers. It supports Excel (.xlsx) and CSV (.csv) file formats for data input.

Usage

1. Provide the NG911 geodatabase.

2. Select the MSAG analysis variant to compare against an MSAG spreadsheet or TELEPHONE to compare against a telephone number (TN) spreadsheet.

3. Provide the spreadsheet(s).

4. Map the spreadsheet columns to feature class fields.

5. Run the tool.
